Residents of Brgy. Palaris in San Carlos City were treated to a day filled with games, entertainment, prizes, and community activities as Surf2Sawa by Converge ICT Solutions brought its BRGY S2S caravan to the area on May 9, 2026.
The event followed the successful launch of BRGY S2S in Daet and further strengthened Surf2Sawa’s growing presence in communities across the country. Through the initiative, the company continues its mission of providing Filipino families with reliable, high-quality, and affordable internet connectivity.

The celebration kicked off with Zumba2Sawa, where residents enthusiastically joined the morning dance activity. This was followed by a lively parade and recorida that started at Arenas Complex and passed through the Converge Business Center along G.H. Del Pilar Street before making its way around Malong Street and Burgos Street and eventually returning to the venue.
The energy remained high throughout the day as residents enjoyed various performances and activities that have become signature attractions of every BRGY S2S event.
One of the program’s most anticipated segments was Sugod Barangay, where hosts engaged residents in fun conversations and interactive moments while emphasizing the importance of staying connected in everyday life.
Interactive games and raffle draws also became crowd favorites as attendees took home exciting prizes. The event likewise showcased community talent through contests such as MamaMove, Sing2Sawa, and Mama Mong Kabugera, which highlighted the skills and creativity of local residents.
Each segment of the event reinforced the spirit of bayanihan and unity, reflecting Surf2Sawa’s strong connection with the communities it serves.
Through BRGY S2S, Surf2Sawa continues to expand access to affordable prepaid fiber internet for more Filipinos. The service offers unlimited, no-contract internet connectivity with speeds of up to 50 Mbps at rates as low as ₱4 per day per user for up to six devices. Subscribers may also avail of ExtraBoost add-ons that provide speeds of up to 100 Mbps for more demanding online activities such as streaming, online classes, and work-from-home setups.
According to Conrado “Kap Dhing” Pascual, Vice President and Business Unit Head of Converge:
“Sa pamamagitan ng BRGY S2S, patuloy naming inilalapit ang Surf2Sawa sa mas maraming komunidad upang mabigyan ang bawat pamilyang Pilipino ng access sa mabilis, maaasahan, at abot-kayang internet. Mahalaga ang koneksyon hindi lamang para sa entertainment, kundi bilang tulay sa edukasyon, kabuhayan, at pang-araw-araw na komunikasyon.”
Meanwhile, Orange Ramirez emphasized the company’s goal of making digital access more inclusive across the country.
“Ang BRGY S2S ay repleksyon ng commitment ng Converge na walang komunidad ang mapag-iiwanan sa digital age. Sa bawat barangay na aming pinupuntahan, mas pinapalapit namin ang de-kalidad na fixed-fiber connectivity sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan nito, habang sabay naming dinadala ang saya at engagement na tunay na para sa komunidad.”
Following its successful stop in San Carlos, BRGY S2S once again proved that it offers more than just entertainment and prizes. The initiative continues to serve as a celebration of connectivity and community, helping bring fast, reliable, and affordable internet closer to more Filipino households while opening new opportunities in everyday life.
