The magic of Gwy Saludes’ Wattpad universe continues as Viva One premieres ‘Golden Scenery of Tomorrow’ on October 18, 2025.
Produced by Studio Viva in collaboration with OC Records, the series is the fifth installment of the hit ‘University’ Series that has already amassed more than 695 million reads online.
Following the success of ‘The Rain in España’, ‘Safe Skies Archer’, ‘Chasing in the Wild’, and ‘Avenues of the Diamond’, the new series promises to deliver another heartfelt chapter of romance, resilience, and self-discovery. At the helm is acclaimed director Victor Villanueva (Patay Na Si Hesus, Kidnap for Romance), known for his sharp balance of comedy, drama, and authenticity.
Leading the cast are Bea Binene and Wilbert Ross as Avianna “Via” Diaz and Larkin “Arkin” Sanchez.
Via is an architecture student who carries the emotional scars of growing up under the shadow of her mother’s fame. Introverted yet strong, she devotes herself to caring for her siblings while trying to carve her own path.
Arkin, on the other hand, is a film student whose wit, charm, and talent suddenly catapult him into showbiz stardom as part of a rising love team.
Their lifelong friendship blossoms into romance, but the weight of fame, unresolved trauma, and conflicting priorities test their bond. Will love be enough to survive ambition and the harsh realities of the spotlight?
In interviews, Binene praised Ross as a reliable partner: “He cares about me inasmuch as he always asks if I’m comfortable doing some of the scenes we do and I appreciate that.”
Ross, meanwhile, admitted that working with Binene raised his game: “It’s so nice to work with Bea kasi she forces you to bring your A-game. Magaling kasi siya at talaga namang gagalingan mo rin kasi nakakahiya kung hindi ka handa.”
The duo’s natural rapport mirrors the emotional depth of Via and Arkin’s journey, giving fans a love story that feels both relatable and aspirational.
Adding to the excitement is the return of fan favorites from previous ‘University’ Series adaptations: Heaven Peralejo, Marco Gallo, Jerome Ponce, Krissha Viaje, Gab Lagman, Hyacinth Callado, Aubrey Caraan, Lance Carr, Nicole Omillo, and Jairus Aquino.
