Actress Inah de Belen has a simple reminder for everyone — respect other people’s choices.
In a Facebook post, the daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada expressed her gratitude to netizens who showed love and support after a commenter criticized her and boyfriend Jake Vargas for supposedly living together.
“Hello, everyone! Honestly, I didn’t expect ganitong positive responses. Thank you so much sa lahat ng nag-send ng love and good vibes,” Inah wrote.
She followed it with a heartfelt message encouraging people to let others live their lives freely without judgment. “Sana matutunan natin lahat na irespeto ang choices ng isa’t isa at ‘wag ipilit ang paniniwala natin sa iba. Hangga’t wala namang naaapakang tao, hayaan na lang nating mamuhay ang bawat isa sa paraan na nagpapasaya sa kanila. Life’s lighter that way! More kindness, more love, less judgment,” she said.
The post came after a Facebook user commented on a video of Inah and Jake dancing to Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need,” saying, “Ang babata pa, nag-live in na.”
Inah quickly and politely clapped back: “Nay, 33 years old na po kami. Mag-research po muna kayo,” she replied — a response that earned her praise from fans and fellow netizens.
Supportive comments soon flooded the post, with many applauding Inah’s grace and sense of humor. “Mukha lang pong mga bata pero nasa right age na po pareho sila,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Judgmental ka naman po. Pati buhay ng iba pinakikialaman n’yo pa. Wala naman kayong ambag sa buhay nila.”
