Speculation is growing online about the relationship status of filmmakers Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas following a recent social media post by the female director.
The couple, who got engaged in 2020 after Villegas proposed in Vatican City, have long kept their relationship relatively private despite working together on projects such as Kono Basho and Uninvited.
Rumors of a possible split resurfaced after Jadaone shared a reflective Instagram post featuring her new creative space.

While the post itself did not directly address her relationship, comments from friends and colleagues fueled speculation. Actress Maris Racal commented, “Love u forevs!”, while director Irene Emma Villamor wrote, “To a new life!” Content creator Mimiyuuuh also showed support, saying, “I LOVE DIREK!!!!!”
Adding to the intrigue, another comment from a fellow creative reportedly referred to Jadaone as a “single woman,” further intensifying breakup rumors.
Observers also noted that Jadaone has not posted recent photos with Villegas, with her last known post featuring him dating back to October 2025, when they celebrated a win for Best Cinematography at the Urian Awards for Kono Basho.
As of writing, neither Jadaone nor Villegas has issued an official statement regarding the status of their relationship.
Jadaone is currently in Lisbon, where she appears to be working on a new project.
