Kapamilya actress Julia Montes didn’t hold back when asked if she had ever confronted a woman who tried to get too close to her longtime partner, Coco Martin.

In her candid interview on DJ Chacha’s vlog, the Saving Grace star admitted that while she didn’t directly talk to the person, she made sure to send a clear message.
“Hindi ko siya kinausap pero pinaramdam ko sa kanya. Kasi wala nang point para kausapin ko pa siya. Excuse me?” Julia said with a smile.
Julia revealed that she and Coco have been through their fair share of challenges throughout their more than decade-long relationship, including instances where women would try to flirt with the actor.
“Malakas ‘yung radar ko. Alam ko kapag may kakaiba. Pero sa awa ng Diyos, lahat naman napag-uusapan namin at nareresolba,” she added.
When asked if she has ever ignored someone who crossed the line, Julia said she prefers to show how she feels rather than pretending everything is fine.
“Super warm ako—alam mo kapag okay ako sa’yo at kapag hindi. Hindi rin ako plastic, hindi ako showbiz. Kapag hindi kita gusto, hindi kita papansinin,” she said.
Julia then recounted one particular encounter where the woman greeted her first.
“Nag-hi siya. ‘Hi po,’ eh ka-batch ko lang siya. Sabi ko, ‘Excuse me? Maka-po ka naman,’ ganun—with a smile,” Julia recalled, laughing.
The actress admitted that while she tries to remain composed, she also knows when to stand her ground.
“Oo kasi sobra rin naman siya, kumbaga sa strike three—sobra sobra din naman,” she said, hinting that the woman had crossed the line multiple times.
Despite such moments, Julia said she and Coco continue to have a strong, grounded relationship built on trust and mutual understanding.
“Hindi naman ako nakikipag-compete. Ang gusto ko lang, maabot ko ‘yung longevity ng career ni Ms. Susan Roces,” Julia noted, expressing gratitude for where she is both personally and professionally.
Julia ended the interview on a light note, flashing a confident smile as she quipped, “Sorry, girl!”
