Broadcast journalist Atom Araullo has confirmed that he is in a long-term relationship.
During his guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on Friday, the Kapuso news personality was asked directly if he currently has a girlfriend. Atom answered without hesitation.

“Matagal na. How many years? See—We don’t even count. It’s been a while,” he said.
Although he did not mention a name, Atom acknowledged that his partner is also a public figure.
“She is public. I think people know. People on social media know. They see us often,” he added.
When host Boy Abunda asked him about marriage, Atom responded that it is naturally part of the discussion in a serious relationship.
“That’s always in someone’s mind when they’re in a serious relationship. So, definitely, it’s something that you think about. Something that you’re ready for. I’m not setting a deadline or timeline for it,” he said.
Atom has been known to keep his personal life private, though he previously spoke about his “great relationship” in an interview with Karmina Constantino on ‘KC After Hours’ in October 2024. In that interview, he said what drew him to his partner was her independence and ambition.
“She has her own dreams. She has her own life. She has her own career, and priorities. The best way I feel like, the reason why we work is because we support each other, and we let each other grow,” he shared.
He also noted that their understanding of each other’s work helps strengthen their bond.
“Kasi it can be difficult eh — the time, the stress, and kahit ’yung chismis, eh. Nagkakaintindihan kami sa chismis. Alam niya exactly what I’m talking about, and vice versa,” Atom said.
Atom Araullo currently hosts ‘The Atom Araullo Specials,’ a documentary program exploring social issues and human-interest stories. His next special, ‘Magic Island,’ which focuses on Siquijor, airs on November 30 at 3:15 p.m. on GMA Network.
