Actor-director Coco Martin has finally addressed long-standing rumors about his relationship with Julia Montes, confirming that while they are deeply committed to each other, they are not yet married.

In an exclusive interview with Karen Davila on her YouTube vlog, the ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ star revealed that marriage is something he has been thoughtfully preparing for — but not rushing into.
The 42-year-old actor shared that one of the major steps he’s taking now is building their dream house, which symbolizes the next chapter of his life with Julia.
“Nagpapatayo kasi ako ng bahay ngayon,” he revealed.
When Karen asked if marriage would follow once the house is finished, Coco smiled and gave a teasing response.
The Kapamilya actor, known for keeping his personal life private, has been romantically linked to Julia for over a decade. While the two rarely discuss their relationship in public, they’ve often been spotted together, sparking speculation that they may already be married — something Coco has now directly denied.
Meanwhile, Julia, who recently launched her Swiss Proli Night Gummies business, told the entertainment press that Coco has been nothing but supportive of her entrepreneurial pursuits.

“Very supportive at proud siya sa akin,” Julia said. “Actually, kami dalawa ‘yung nagbu-boost ng confidence ng isa’t isa.”
In a past interview, Julia also described Coco as her “knight in shining armor,” crediting him for bringing light into her life during one of her lowest moments.
The two first worked together in ‘Walang Hanggan’ (2012), where their undeniable chemistry began. More than ten years later, their bond remains strong both on and off-screen — proof, perhaps, that the best love stories are built on patience, trust, and shared dreams.
For now, Coco says his focus is on finishing their home — and ensuring that when the right time comes, everything will be just as he envisioned.
“Gusto ko kapag dumating ‘yung panahon na ‘yon, buo na lahat — career, bahay, pamilya, at puso,” he said.
