Ellen Adarna clarified that Siargao-based Swedish photographer Pernilla Sjöö is not the woman she was referring to as the alleged “side chick” of her estranged husband, Derek Ramsay.
On November 17, Adarna surprised the public when she released screenshots on Instagram showing what she described as conversations between Ramsay and another woman. The actress claimed the exchanges took place in February 2021 — just days after she and Ramsay officially became a couple on February 4, 2021. The two later married on November 11, 2021.
Adarna insisted that the woman involved is not one of Ramsay’s former girlfriends, adding that her lawyers advised her not to reveal the identity of the person.
“As much as I want to reveal who the girl is, I cannot. My lawyers advised me not to. I can get in trouble,” she said in an Instagram Story.
The actress then issued a specific clarification regarding Sjöö, who had previously been dragged into unrelated controversies on social media earlier this year.
“Btw guys, the girl is NOT Pernilla. Pernilla is a very close friend,” Adarna wrote, denying speculations that the Swedish content creator was the woman in question.
Pernilla Sjöö was previously seen attending the baptism of Ellen and Derek’s daughter, Liana, on February 27, 2025. She is currently in a relationship with trail runner Yardy Malinao.
In another Story, Adarna posted a screenshot showing Ramsay denying the cheating accusation during a conversation with another person. She reacted by saying, “Deny till you die. It’s your way, your truth, and your life.”
Adarna added that she learned about the alleged affair only three weeks ago and did not confront Ramsay directly. “He just found out here,” she said.
The actress also confirmed that she is still living in Ramsay’s house while waiting for renovations on her new place to be completed.
As of this writing, Derek Ramsay has not issued a public statement regarding Adarna’s allegations.
