This Christmas season, GMA Music, in partnership with the GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF), proudly announces the launch of the new Extended Play (EP), “Isang Bagong Kinabukasan,” set for release this November 14.
This special four-track EP is dedicated to supporting GMAKF’s wide-ranging humanitarian projects across the Philippines. A portion of the revenue from every download and stream of the songs in the EP will directly benefit its socio-civic efforts, including typhoon and flood relief operations, earthquake and calamity assistance, the construction of disaster-resilient schools, and key environmental initiatives such as critical tree planting, garden propagation for schools & communities for food security.
Headlining the EP is the newly recorded feature single “Luntian,” performed by Nadj Zablan. The track, written and composed by Elnad Zablan and Shirley Zablan, serves as an anthem for GMAKF’s Kapuso ng Kalikasan Projects.
The EP also features three powerful remastered versions of previously released Kapuso songs, with each track dedicated to a specific area of GMAKF’s charity projects.
“Isang Kinabukasan,” originally composed by rock icon Wency Cornejo and performed by an impressive lineup of Kapuso and OPM artists, is dedicated to the building of GMAKF’s resilient schools project, Kapuso School Development & its yearly back-to-school bags & school supplies distribution project, Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan.
Meanwhile, “Bangon Kaibigan” is composed by returning Kapuso, Janno Gibbs, and performed by Kapuso All Stars. This remastered track, originally written for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda, is intended for GMAKF’s relief operations for floods and typhoons.
”Pagbangon,” on the other hand, is performed by Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose. This inspiring song will serve as the theme for GMAKF’s relief operations following earthquakes and landslides.
GMA Music and GMA Kapuso Foundation encourage everyone to stream and download the inspirational EP to help sustain GMAKF’s various socio-civic and humanitarian efforts.
To celebrate the EP’s release, singer Nadj Zablan is slated to perform “Luntian” live at the much-awaited Noel Bazaar at the World Trade Center, which runs from Nov. 26 to 30. Further details on the performance will be announced soon.
