The set of the upcoming ‘A Werewolf Boy’ adaptation did more than challenge its two young leads—it revealed a blossoming rapport between Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji that has caught the attention of fans and observers alike.

Produced by Viva Films and directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, the film required weeks of lock-in sharing space, pressure, and long working days.
In the process, Rabin and Angela not only pushed through physical and emotional demands but also uncovered a surprising connection that could mark them as Viva’s next rising tandem.
Angela, who experienced her first-ever lock-in taping, admitted the work was exhausting. “First time ko po talaga. Iba pag movie, tapos lock-in pa—sunod-sunod talaga,” she said.
But despite her own fatigue, Rabin noticed she was the one keeping the entire set’s spirits up.
“Lahat kami pagod na, pero siya ‘yung nagpapasaya sa mga tao,” Rabin shared. “Kinakausap niya isa-isa: ‘Okay ka pa ba? Kaya ‘yan!’”
Angela was visibly touched when she learned Rabin saw her as an inspiration.
“Hindi ko nafi-feel na ganun ako,” she said. “Noong sinabi niya, parang hindi ako makapaniwala.”
The two discovered plenty of lighter moments as well. Rabin teased Angela for being “paborito ng lamok,” noting that she always walked around with legs covered in mosquito bites. Angela laughed it off, grateful that Rabin kept things light despite the heavy emotional material in the film.
“Wala pong arte ‘yung ugali niya,” Angela said fondly. “Kahit sa lock-in, hindi nagbago. Siya po talaga siya.”
Their natural push-and-pull dynamic, combined with the film’s romantic and emotional storyline, has sparked early speculation that the pair could evolve into a future love team—especially after fans noticed their chemistry during interviews and behind-the-scenes moments.
As the Philippine remake of ‘A Werewolf Boy’ prepares for release, Rabin and Angela’s teamwork and growing closeness may become one of the most exciting new tandems to watch in 2026.
