Beyond its already announced 2026 film slate, GMA Pictures appears to be preparing additional projects for the year.

In a post shared on the film studio’s official social media accounts, GMA Pictures revealed that it has signed a contract for a new movie co-production with former Ilocos Sur governor and businessman Chavit Singson. The signing was attended by Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA Pictures President, along with Pinky Tobiano.
Also present at the contract signing were several artists from Sparkle GMA Artist Center, including Shuvee Etrata, Faith Da Silva, Bianca Manalo, Skye Chua, Tim Yap, Betong Sumaya, Vanessa Peña, Alethea Ambrosio, and Jade Tecson. While no plot details or casting information have been disclosed, the announcement has already sparked interest among fans of the featured artists.
The new collaboration underscores GMA Pictures’ openness to working with external producers, in addition to mounting its own in-house projects. In 2025, the studio co-produced Everything About My Wife with CreaZion Studios and Glimmer Studio, as well as the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love You So Bad with Star Cinema and Regal Films.
For 2026, GMA Pictures is also set to release the horror film Huwag Kang Titingin, co-produced with Mentorque Productions, further reflecting the company’s strategy of expanding its film portfolio through strategic partnerships.
With multiple collaborations now in motion, GMA Pictures appears poised to deliver an even broader and more diverse lineup of films in 2026.
