Split rumors have surfaced surrounding actor John Lloyd Cruz and his girlfriend, visual artist Isabel Santos, after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the couple no longer follow each other on Instagram.
As of Thursday, January 15, Cruz and Santos were no longer listed on each other’s “following” tabs on their main Instagram accounts, prompting speculation that the pair may be going through relationship trouble.
However, fans also pointed out that the two continue to follow each other on Cruz’s secondary Instagram account, @dumpsitegallery. In addition, photos of the couple remain visible on both of their respective Instagram pages, suggesting that no public cleanup or removal has taken place.
Despite the online buzz, neither Cruz nor Santos has released a statement addressing the unfollowing or the rumors it sparked.
Cruz confirmed his relationship with Santos in October 2023 during an interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, after dating rumors began circulating as early as 2021. The actor previously shared that he met Santos during his hiatus from show business at an art gallery owned by her family.
The couple has also been seen spending time together with Elias, Cruz’s son with actress Ellen Adarna. Most recently, they reunited as a group during Elias’ piano recital.
As of this writing, the status of Cruz and Santos’ relationship remains unclear.
