Bea Alonzo is looking forward to building a family with husband Vincent Co as she embraces a new chapter in her life following their marriage.

During the ‘Preview Conversations with Birch Tree’ event, the actress opened up about how marriage has changed her outlook on health, wellness, and the future, revealing that having children is part of their plans.
“I just got married, and naturally, of course, we’re planning to try to have kids in the future and build a family,” Bea said.
The actress explained that the possibility of becoming a mother has made her more conscious about taking care of herself for the long term.
“And when that day comes, I’d love to be able to have the energy to run around with my kids and to play with them and not just watch from the sidelines,” she shared.
Bea said she has become more intentional about wellness instead of relying on quick fixes or following the latest fitness trends.
“Right now, I have become more intentional and more conscious about longevity,” she said. “So kung before, I would resort to like, the quick fixes, or the latest new fitness trend, right now, I invest more in my future self.”
While she still wants to look good, Bea stressed that staying healthy enough to fully experience the different stages of her life has become more important.
“And that’s not to say na ayoko maging maganda—of course, I still want to look good. But ultimately, my priority now is to have the energy to enjoy every chapter of my life,” she explained.
The actress is also enjoying married life with Vincent, saying she remains on “cloud nine” a month after their wedding.
“Siyempre, nag-move in na kami together. Right now, I’m on cloud nine. I’m very, very happy. Na-share ko yata, I’m at my happiest. Siyempre, we, you know, wake up right next to each other every day and it’s special to me,” Bea said.
For Bea, marriage and her plans for a family do not mean slowing down. Asked how she would describe the current chapter of her life, she chose the phrase “Just getting started.”
“Kasi di ba, you’ve seen me in many different chapters of my life. I’ve lived many lives and you’ve seen them all. But somehow, I feel like I’m only getting started,” she said.
“You know, I’m so excited for what’s to come personally and professionally, and I know that there is so much more life I still need to experience.”
On the career front, Bea is also preparing for her television comeback as she leads GMA Network’s upcoming series ‘Whispers from Heaven.’
