After their four months of staying inside Bahay ni Kuya, the Kapamilya Big Four finally shared their rollercoaster experience through this month’s Spotlight Presscon.
Fourth big placer Miguel Vergara reflected on how PBB became a turning point in how people see him. Having spent years in the industry, he shared that audiences had long known him only through the roles he portrayed on-screen. This time, however, stepping into the PBB house allowed him to reveal something more personal, finally, introducing them to Miguel as himself.
“Matagal na po ako sa industriya so ang nakikita lang po nila is yung mga show ko po. Yung mga characters ko po, but now po siguro po nung pagpasok ko ng PBB, ang gusto ko pong makita nila sakin ay si ‘Miguel’ naman,” the young actor revealed.
Joaquin Arce, third big placer, whose stay inside the house was marked by a string of memorable and defining moments, spoke with quiet sincerity about the lessons he learned inside the house, “PBB really teaches you to appreciate yung mga bagay na meron ka…that’s actually one of the valuable lessons na I learned—na you should really appreciate every single little thing,” he reflected.
He admitted that the experience molded him into a new version of himself, one tempered by introspection and strengthened by everything he endured within those walls.
Second big placer Krystal Mejes shared her overwhelming realization the minute she got home. “Ako po pag uwi ko ng bahay after big night nag phone po ako. After ko pong kausapin yung family ko nag scroll po ako tapos di po ako nakatulog… may time na nakatulala lang po ako because I was trying to process everything, because it was so overwhelming.” Krystal admitted.
For Big Winner Lella Ford, everything that followed felt overwhelming in the best way—an unfolding she never quite expected, yet embraced with deep gratitude.
“Ang dream ko po talaga ay maging isang mahusay na aktres,” she shared, her voice carrying both humility and quiet determination.
Lella sees her PBB journey as a stepping stone—an opportunity for people to look beyond being Karla Estrada’s daughter and Daniel Padilla’s sister, and truly discover who she is.
The former housemates have held on to the closeness they built inside—making the effort to see one another whenever they can. Each reunion carries a familiar warmth, a reminder of the life they once shared, “Everytime na nagkikita kami it’s just so fun talaga kasi were used to being with each other po 24/7 inside the house and then now dun lang po kami talaga kami naghiwalay. It was so good seeing everyone.” Lella said.
Much lies ahead for the Kapamilya Big 4, with opportunities already taking shape and a promising slate of projects on the horizon. As doors continue to open, fans have every reason to look forward with anticipation.
