An emotional Jayden Fernandez took to Instagram Live on April 25, 2026 to address the controversy surrounding a viral video allegedly linked to him.
During the livestream, the TikTok personality was seen in tears as he repeatedly apologized to his family and his partner, who he said have been deeply affected by the issue.
According to Jayden, the situation has not been easy to deal with, especially amid intense online criticism and judgment. He admitted that the controversy has taken a heavy toll on his personal life and mental well-being, prompting him to ask for understanding and privacy as he works through the situation.
In his emotional statement, he clarified that the circulation of the video happened without his consent.
“Hindi ko po binigyan ng consent iyong pagkalat po ng private stuff na yon,” he said.
He also acknowledged his past actions, explaining that the incident happened when he was still single.
“Pagdating po doon sa mga narinig niyo, nalaman niyo doon about the video, I admit po, before nung single po ako… I tried things out of curiosity.”
Jayden expressed regret over his decisions, adding: “Na right now, pinagsisisihan ko. Hindi ko na inisip iyong consequence…”
Despite the backlash, he appealed to the public to spare his loved ones from the controversy.
“Husgahan niyo na ako, sabihin niyo lahat ng gusto niyong sabihin. Pero huwag nyong idamay yung girlfriend ko, and yung family ko. Hayaan niyong ako na lang.”
He also extended his apology to his family, his partner, and his partner’s family, while expressing gratitude to those who continue to support and understand him during this time.
Jayden Fernandez, whose real name is Jonas Harina, is known as a model and online seller. He was named Mr. Grand Philippines Culture 2024 and previously appeared in the Bench fashion show “Body of Work” held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in March 2025.
