Showbiz and business circles continue to buzz following a report by Bilyonaryo claiming that the rumored cancellation of the supposed wedding plans of Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co allegedly involved more than just disagreements over a prenuptial agreement.

According to the report, unnamed insiders or “Babblers” claimed that tensions allegedly escalated because of the influence of people close to Bea, particularly her longtime handlers Shirley Kuan and Alan German.
The publication alleged that some individuals within Bea’s circle were reportedly concerned that marriage and eventually starting a family could shift the actress’ priorities and affect her career trajectory.
Since leaving Star Magic in November 2020 after nearly two decades, Bea has worked closely with her management team in steering her career outside her former home network. Shirley Kuan and Alan German have since become key figures in managing the actress’ projects and career direction.
Bilyonaryo further reported that both Bea and Vincent supposedly still wanted to proceed with the wedding, but the reported constant involvement of handlers and advisers in major decisions allegedly became a source of strain in the relationship.
According to the report, some people around the actress allegedly viewed the possibility of Bea slowing down or stepping back from showbiz as a financial and professional risk.
The publication also claimed that Vincent’s side was supposedly surprised by the intense attention surrounding the prenup issue, with sources saying that prenuptial agreements are standard financial protection among prominent business families.
However, insiders allegedly claimed that the issues eventually went beyond finances and legal documents and extended to the influence and interests of people surrounding the relationship.
As of writing, neither Bea nor Vincent has released any official statement regarding the rumors.
Meanwhile, Bea recently drew attention online after posting a Mother’s Day tribute on Instagram featuring herself and her mother, Mary Anne. The actress shared a video advertisement where she gifted her mother a diamond ring, while also subtly showing a diamond ring worn on her own middle finger.
“This Mother’s Day, I wanted to give my mom something as timeless and enduring as her love,” Bea wrote.
“Celebrating the woman who made life feel a little brighter, a little softer, and so much more beautiful. Happy Mother’s Day to my forever home,” she added.
The post came amid persistent speculation that Bea and Vincent were supposed to tie the knot in Spain on May 16.
Rumors intensified further after several members of Bea’s family were reportedly spotted in Spain, leading netizens to speculate that preparations for the alleged wedding were still ongoing.
Actress Dimples Romana also recently shared Instagram Stories showing that she had flown out of the country, adding fuel to speculation that invited guests may already be traveling overseas.
