Actor Will Ashley encouraged Filipinos, especially young voters, to register and participate in the upcoming elections as he shared his thoughts on the current situation in the country.

On X, the former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemate admitted feeling saddened and angered by recent events, prompting him to call on the public to choose leaders who genuinely care for the nation.
“Nakakalungkot at nakakagalit ang mga nangyayari. Iisa ang ating layunin para sa ating bansa. Huling araw para maging rehistrado,” Will wrote.
He then reminded voters to carefully choose deserving public servants in the 2028 elections.
“Sabay-sabay po tayong pumili ng nararapat para sa ikabubuti at tunay na may malasakit sa atin at sa ating bansa. Sa mga mulat, hindi na muling pipikit. Mag pa rehistro na, karapatan natin to!” he added.
May 18 marked the final day of voter registration, making Will’s message resonate with many first-time voters and young Filipinos online.
Several netizens expressed appreciation for the actor’s reminder and praised him for using his platform to promote civic participation and political awareness.
One user also shared how Will’s post encouraged their family members to register before the deadline.
Will is among the growing number of young celebrities speaking up online about civic responsibility and the importance of voter participation ahead of the 2028 elections.
