The romance is just getting started in GMA Afternoon Prime’s You’re My Favorite Song, but viewers are already divided over who should win the heart of Angel, played by Caprice Cayetano.
Fans have quickly formed their own teams as Angel’s story unfolds alongside Zion (Marco Masa), Calix (Clifford), and Miguel (Heath Jornales), with viewers praising the chemistry of the show’s three potential pairings—CapEath, CapCo, and CapFord.
One of the series’ early highlights featured Angel’s cinematic first encounter with Miguel, the lead vocalist of the band Siklab, during one of his secret busking performances. However, fate soon separated the two after Angel transferred to another school before they could meet again.
Meanwhile, Angel’s relationship with Calix got off to a rocky start after she caught him bullying Zion. Their rivalry intensified even further when the new transfer student outperformed Brighton Bay Academy’s reigning top student, setting the stage for more confrontations between the two.

Adding to the conflict is Serina (Kazel Kinouchi) of the Monteverde Group of Companies, who plans to purchase the property where Angel’s grandfather, Lolo Xavi (Boboy Garrovillo), dreams of building a resort.
With romance, rivalry, and family struggles beginning to intertwine, viewers can expect more twists as Angel’s journey continues.
