Actress Yassi Pressman and Camarines Sur 2nd District Rep. Luigi Villafuerte are officially engaged.
The couple shared the news on Saturday, July 18, through a joint Instagram post featuring photos and videos from the proposal.
“Our greatest adventure,” they captioned the post.
The proposal took place in an intimate outdoor setting, where Villafuerte was seen kneeling before Pressman as he asked her to marry him. The actress became emotional during the proposal and was later seen showing off her engagement ring in the video.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities and friends, including Anne Curtis, Jericho Rosales, Alex Gonzaga, Ruffa Gutierrez, Charlie Dizon, Zeinab Harake, and Ella Pangilinan.
“Yayyyyyyyyyy so happy for you,” Zeinab wrote.
Ella also commented, “Congratulations you guys ❤️ finally!!”
Pressman and Villafuerte were first linked romantically in 2023. The actress publicly confirmed their relationship in February 2024 after sharing a video of the two kissing on social media. On Valentine’s Day that year, she also referred to the congressman as the “love of her life” in an online post.
The couple has largely kept their relationship private despite occasionally sharing moments together on social media.
Neither Pressman nor Villafuerte has announced their wedding plans as of writing.
