  • Jeff Canoy reports more inspiring stories from Marawi.
  • Gain knowledge and courage in the face of danger as we relive the stories of Marawi with Jeff Canoy on “Red Alert” this Wednesday (December 6) at 9:30pm.

Another pair of Marawi survivors will share their stories of struggle and hope in the second part of “Red Alert’s” Marawi special airing this Wednesday (December 6) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.

Jeff Canoy meets Saripada Pacasum Jr., who witnessed unity and compassion during the bloody war. Saripada shared how the lack of electricity and severed communication lines made it even difficult to save trapped residents as terrorists and the military exchanged gunfire. Add to that the shortage on food, water, and shelter for civilians.

One of those caught in the battle area was PO1 Lumna Lidasan, who served as the beacon of courage and hope for five other policemen he was with during the crossfire.

Meanwhile, while the war has ended, danger remains for the people of Marawi with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) left behind by terrorists in the city. While our soldiers are already doing clearing operations, civilians should know how to keep themselves and their families safe from these devices.

Gain knowledge and courage in the face of danger as we relive the stories of Marawi with Jeff Canoy on “Red Alert” this Wednesday (December 6) at 9:30pm on DZMM TeleRadyo, and after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN HD.
