The supposed to be “Marian’s” biggest surprise, Bela Padilla and Sam Pinto’s guesting on Marian Rivera’s dance show on GMA Network isn’t that spectacular. Marian together with Bela and Sam performed on stage a Lady Gaga-inspired dance-off.
Sorry but the gimmick isn’t that surprising to the viewers. The episode of GMA Network’s “Marian” registered a rating of 18.9%, far by 12.9 compared with the two-hour-episode of “The Voice PH Kids” Grand Performance Night which got 31.8% ratings based on the overnight ratings on July 26 released by AGB Nielsen for Mega Manila. Next to “Marian” is a GMA Blockbusters movie titled “Snakes on a Plane” got a rating of 22%.
On the finale episode of “The Voice PH Kids” where Lyca Gairanod emerged as the Grand Winner, the show got a ratings of 29.2% versus “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko” which got 11.6% and “Ismol Family” that registered 14.6%.
