He also reported how portraying his character in the said series will be a lot different from the other role he used to play. He will star in an upcoming drama-revenge series Asintado which will air on January 15, Monday in ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold.

What should the viewers watch out for in his role as Gael Ojeda in Asintado?
“Ang dapat nila abangan naman siguro as Gael Ojeda is ‘yung bigat na pinipili niya. Kung pipiliin niya ba yung pagmamahal niya para sa isang babae o ‘yung pagmamahal niya sa pamilya niya. “
What would be Paulo’s preparations to be Gael Ojeda?
“Pag-research ng konti kung paano ang mga abogado, hindi lang sa loob ng korte, kundi kung paano sila namamalakad ng mga papeles, kung paano sila nakikipag-usap sa mga tao. Kung kailangan pormal dapat.”
Furthermore, Paulo has been in showbiz for so long and his role as Gael in Asintado certainly takes the cake as one of a kind.
“It’s different dahil simula’t sapul, klarong klaro na ‘yung character niya, eh. And it’s also different from the others like dito kay Gael kita mo ‘yung pagmamahal niya. Pagmamahal niya sa mga minamahal niya sa buhay pero kakaiba niyang pinapakita.”
Paulo described Gael Ojeda in three words: “Explosive. Loving. Spiteful.”
