Since launching local operations last September 2017, Klook has worked on building their brand in the Philippines and worked with different brands in the travel industry such as GetGo by Cebu Pacific Air. This year, Klook aims to continue to grow their local presence through more on-ground events. The brand kick started Sinulog 2018 last January 19 by hosting a Sunset Yacht Party in Mactan where prominent influencers and media partners were invited.
Klook also recently held their first ever independent travel fair – Klook ‘N Go Pop-Up Travel Fair – last February 9-11, 2018 at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, MOA Arena, Annex Building. The 3-day travel fair was visited by over 6,000 people in the hopes of getting big savings on Klook activities for their 2018 travel plans.
As part of their initiative to further grow the brand locally, Klook will be hosting their very first travel workshop on February 24, 2018 at Glorietta 2 Activity Center. The workshop is called “Konnichiwa Japan: A Travel Workshop by Klook” where the brand aims to give interested travelers to Japan – particularly to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto – a glimpse on how to maximize their travel, provide budget guides for solo and group travelers alike, and show how Klook can help make their travels easier, convenient, and hassle-free through an informative and entertaining travel workshop.
They have invited travel bloggers to talk and share smart travel tips, and Klook’s newest travel buddy, Alex Gonzaga, will also be hanging around to share some things on travel vlogging and how to best document one’s trip. The event will also be surrounded by interactive booths where aspiring travelers can learn more about Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and the Japan Rail Passes.
Klook will also be releasing discounts on Japan activities – including Buy 3 Get 1 deals for popular Japan Klook products. There will also be fun games where people can win Klook travel credits and a raffle promo where lucky visitors can win free flights from Cebu Pacific Air.
