Kris Aquino and young love tandem and real-life lovebirds Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto have an upcoming movie titled “I Love You Hater.”
The Queen of Social Media promises Joshua and Julia that she would make the couple’s dream, a trip to New York, come true if their movie is a hit. “They told me na they have a bucket list together. Sinabi nila na kapag nagkaroon na ng three endorsements na silang dalawa as a tandem (they have two currently.) On the third daw, pupunta sila ng New York,” she told ABS-CBN.
Kris is generous enough to treat this young couple and volunteered to give them flight tickets to New York. But, the tour, food and accommodation should be shouldered by them. Aquino admitted that she likes the idea of Joshua and Julia having a bucket list together.
The veteran actress believes that it’s a good thing to set something or a reward to look forward to in the future.
Meanwhile, the young artists expressed their gratitude to Kris Aquino after knowing her generous surprise. “Nabuhayan talaga ako,” Joshua exclaimed.
Julia Barretto was only told by Josh who was also excited about the sweet reward. “It’s so nice to be able to work with people who genuinely care about your dreams and your well-being. It’s an honor to be able to work with tita Kris,” she said.
Kris revealed that Bimby, her youngest son, has a thing with Julia Barretto. She said that Bimby is willing to wait until he is 21 years old to court Julia. Making the young actress 31 at that time.
Aquino warned Joshua, “Mag-ingat ka. May naghihintay, waiting in the wings na tumanda lang.”
“I Love You Hater” is directed by Giselle Andres and will be released on June 13.
