  • Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez have yet to speak up about her network transfer rumors.
  • GMA Executive Lilybeth Rasonable neither confirmed nor denied the speculations.
  • Reports circulated that The Clash will be Regine’s last show as a Kapuso.

Ogie Alcasid remains supportive of his wife, Regine Velasquez. He, however, doesn’t want to meddle in her career and lets her decide on her own. Ogie is currently under an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.

On the other hand, Regine remains with GMA Network. Rumors, however, circulate that Regine will soon follow Ogie and transfer networks.

GMA Exec speaks up.

The Clash had a press conference for its Top 12 contestants on August 29, Wednesday. GMA Network SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable attended the press conference where she was asked about Regine’s alleged network transfer.

She only stated how she doesn’t have a confirmation yet.

“Nag-usap na kami. Pero siguro habang wala pang ina-announce officially, either from the network or from Regine, those are all just hearsay or speculation. So… yun, as I’ve said, habang walang ina-announce, nothing is confirmed.”

Regine’s shows.

This time, reports circulated that The Clash will be her last show as a Kapuso. The singing competition will end on September 30, Sunday and Regine reportedly won’t renew her contract with the network.

According to the said rumors, Regine would allegedly finish taping the remaining episodes of Sarap Diva before transferring to ABS-CBN.
