President Rodrigo Duterte told ‘tambays’ to feel free to rob and kill members of the clergy. He said this in a speech during the birth anniversary celebration of Gov. Antonio Kho in Masbate.
Although this elicited laughter from the crowd, netizens including Ogie Diaz expressed their dismay on the President’s another insensitive joke.

Diaz hoped the President would get a toothache for him to stop the insensitive jokes. He compared the President’s way of talking to an idler.
“Kelan kaya sasakit ang ngipin o ang bagang ng Pangulo? Para magpahinga muna siya sa pagsasalita?”
“Parang tambay lang sa harap ng sari-sari store yung nagsasalita, hindi Presidente.

Ogie acknowledges the joke.
Diaz knew that the President’s camp would call it as a joke. He shared how the President kept on spewing out hatred.
“Oo alam ko, joke na naman ito. Pero parang hindi na tama. Ang sakit na sa dibdib, sa totoo lang. Sa araw-araw na lang na ginawa ng Diyos, puro hatred na lang ang laman ng bibig ng Pangulo. Kelan kaya matatapos ito?”

Diaz hoped Duterte supporters as Kat de Castro, Arnel Ignacio and Jimmy Bondoc would say something to the President.
“Baka naman may paraan kayo, Kat De Castro, Arnel Ignacio, Jimmy Bondoc na masabihan ang Pangulo. Alam ko, malakas kayo sa kanya. After all, para din naman sa ikabubuti ng puso niya ang pagmamalasakit n’yo.”
