Two Wives star Patrick Garcia ties the knot with his long-time partner Nikka Martinez at the Blue Leaf Filipinas, Paranaque City yesterday, March 21. The couple got engaged on July 27 last year when Patrick surprisingly proposed to Nikka during church service. “It will make me very happy if you’d allow me to make it right with you and most of all of we could make it right with The Lord,” he said to Nikka when he proposed. Nikka though that Patrick will just share his powerful testimony in church.
Aside from the couple’s family and relatives, the wedding was graced with showbiz friends like Antoinette Taus, Cogie Domingo and Paula Peralejo. Patrick’s first born to ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado, Alex Jazz, was also there as part of the entourage. While Chelsea (daughter of the couple) posed as the little bride.
During the preparation of the wedding, Patrick and Nikka were very hands-on in every detail because they want to show the world how sincere their marriage is. Patrick also said that they may have started it wrong (referring to conceiving a child out of wedlock) but what’s important is they are now doing the right thing. Not just for themselves, but most especially to their child.
