Kathryn Bernardo truly deserves to be named as the superstar of her generation as what the award-winning director Joel Lamangan said.
After the smashing success of her two blockbuster movies Hello, Love, Goodbye in 2019 and The Hows of Us in 2018, Kathryn has made history as the first Filipina actress with two movies hitting the P800 million mark in worldwide earnings.
The actress admitted that she is still on cloud nine after reaching the historical mark in her career.
“Ang hirap i-explain sa isang salita lahat ng nararamdaman ko kasi kahit ngayon minsan naiisip ko nangyayari ba talaga ‘to? I am just very thankful na lahat ng pagmamahal namin sa pelikula, sa kung ano ang ginagawa namin, bumabalik siya ngayon and grabe hindi ako makapaniwala na nangyari ‘to,” she stated.
Kathryn also shared that she is overjoyed that the film was able to touch the lives of others.
“I am very happy and masaya ako dahil ang dami niyang na-touch na buhay and I think ‘yun ang importante and I think ‘yun ang trabaho natin bilang aktor na matulungan sila through our movie,” she said.

Hello, Love, Goodbye serves as the first movie project of Kathryn with Kapuso actor Alden Richards together. It became the highest-grossing PH movie of all time after earning more than P 880 million in global gross sales since it was released last July 31.
It was screened in several countries abroad. It is now the highest-grossing Filipino Film in the Middle East, In Australia, and North America.

Meanwhile, her movie with her real-life boyfriend and original love team partner Daniel Padilla, The Hows of Us, also breached over 800 million-mark in global gross sales.
From being the Box Office Queen, the Kapamilya actress has now gained her newest moniker, “Asia’s Superstar.”
Apart from these, the 23-year-old actress was also honored by two award-giving bodies for her performance in the movie The Hows of Us. She won as the Best Actress at the 2019 Entertainment Editors’ Choice (The Eddys) Awards anf at the 35th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies earlier this year.
Kathryn was given the “Phenomenal Box Office Queen” award alongside Daniel for their mega-blockbuster movie The Hows of Us, which also broke multiple records in the Philippine Cinema at the 50th Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Awards and received the prestigious Camera Obscura Award from FDCP last 2018.
She was also given the “Box Office Queen” award for the blockbuster movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold at the 48th Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Awards in 2017.
