Daniel Padilla has seen his mom’s relationship woes through the years. This is the main reason the Kapamilya actor is still skeptical about Karla Estrada’s current boyfriend Jam Ignacio. In an interview with Tonight With Boy Abunda, Daniel explained his side.
“Lahat ng relationship ng ermat ko, nandoon ako. So lahat nakita ko, narinig ko. So siyempre bilang anak ka at nakita mo lahat, hindi siya kaagad, ‘Ayos, okay na.’ Ngayon iba na.”
However, Daniel appreciates Jam’s effort to reach out to him. For now, the 24-year-old “King of Hearts” is happy that his mom finally found someone that will make her happy but he will still keep an eye on the couple.
“Ayoko naman maging kontrabida, ayoko naman sirain, yun yung mga bagay na hindi ko naman maibibigay sa kanya. Ayoko maging kontrabida but at the same time, on the look naman ako eh. Masaya lang ako ngayon kasi she’s very happy and I think she’s in love and that’s good.”
Karla admits relationship with Jam on TV
Last November 14, 2019, the 44-year-old mom of Daniel finally admitted her relationship with Jam on TV during a taped episode of Magandang Buhay. As per Karla, Jam is a good person and he deserves to be recognized as her current boyfriend.
“Deserve naman. He is a very good man.”
Before Jam came to Karla’s life, the latter had a relationship last 2017 that unfortunately had to break-up due to the long distance issues.
