Many fans were wondering why Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia noticeably looked skinnier than before. The actor shared the reason he shed some weight.
“Nagpapayat kasi siyempre kumbaga nagkaka-edad edad na rin,” he said in jest.
He added: “Siyempre kailangan na rin na mag-excercise excercise. Hindi na pwede ‘yung puro laro-laro lang. So ayun nag-excercise lang ako.”
In a more serious tone, he reasoned: “Para sa sarili lang muna sa ngayon.” He added, teasing on a possible project: “Hindi pa natin pwedeng i-share.”
“Ito na ‘yun. Tapos buhat na lang. Muscles na lang,” he stated.

Joshua recently joined his fellow Kapamilya stars at the GRACES Home for the Elderly for the #StarMagicGivesBack2019 event last December 1. The actor shared that he is happy to give back for the blessings which he has received.
“Masaya ako na naging parte ako nito. Kasi siyempre sa dami ng blessings ko this year, at least ngayon parang nakakapag-give back ako sa mga taong nangangailangan. Very happy,” he shared.
He then shared his excitement for the upcoming zombie thriller Block Z which will premiere next year.
“Sobrang excited ako kasi baby ni Tita Malou ‘yung Block Z eh. Tapos sobrang pinaghirapan din ni Direk Mik (Mikhail Red) ‘yun. Kaya sobrang excited ako na lumabas ‘yun. Next year ‘yun,” he said.
The actor expressed his gratefulness to fans who continue to support him and former love team partner Julia Barretto despite being besieged with issues lately.
“Grateful kami siyempre dahil pagkatapon ng lahat ng lumabas na issues eh nandiyan pa rin sila na nakakapit sa amin.”
Their tandem known as JoshLia became one of the talked-about love teams this year after their relationship ended in a breakup. Not long after the split, unconfirmed sources reported that Julia was dating her Between Maybes co-star Gerald Anderson, which was reportedly the reason for the breakup.
