Roderick Paulate couldn’t contain his happiness over his very successful comeback to GMA Network. The actor is part of the primetime series of One of the Baes with lead stars Ken Chan and Rita Daniela.
According to Philstar.com, Paulate was happy that his friends and family are very supportive of his comeback.
“Kasi ang nakakatuwa rito, honestly, kasi ‘yung iba nating kaibigan or supporters, sinusuportahan tayo kahit saang istasyon tayo pumupunta at sinasabi nila ‘yun sa account ko, sa Instagram at kung saan-saan pa.”
Roderick Paulate can consider 2019 a roller coaster ride. After losing his bid to become Quezon City Vice Mayor, he managed to return to showbiz with One of the Baes.
“Talagang Siya pa rin ang nakakaalam kung anong gusto niya para sa ‘yo. Sabi ni Lord, ‘yan muna.’ Saka ako kasi, naniniwala, hindi lahat ng gusto natin, mangyayari in our time.”
He believes that everything happens for a reason and the loss that he had from the election led him to his successful comeback on the network.
“It’s always in His time. Hindi ibig sabihin ay hindi ka capable, hindi ibig sabihin na hindi ka mabuting leader or hindi rin ibig sabihin, hindi ka nanalo.”
His character Paps Fernando Binglangdapa is loved by the netizens. Recently, he became a trending topic because of a scene that garnered almost 600,000 views on social media.
“I’m very grateful kasi ang sarap ng feeling sa isang artista na hindi lang istasyon ang sinusubaybayan mo kundi sinusubaybayan mo rin ‘yung paborito mong artista.”
