Sheryl consecutively guessed the correct lyrics of the first four given songs in the “Final Countdown” and did not even give defending champion Bugoy Drilon a chance to steal and defend his title. From the first round all the way to the last, Sheryl never committed any mistake, easily beating her fellow players Dennis Padilla, Rez Cortez, Tirso Cruz III, and Tina Paner.
After her winning moment, the actress said that she dedicated her victory to her late father whose birthday is approaching.
Now that the championship seat is unoccupied, “The Singing Bee” is in search of its new champion this week. Band vocalists Jett Pangan of The Dawn, Aia de Leon of Imago, Madeline Ramboyong of Paraluman, Mcoy Fundales of Orange and Lemons, and Ruben Caballero of Cueshe are up for the challenge and try their luck in winning the P1 million jackpot.
