It was a slow start, but Pacquiao tags Rios a couple of times on the first round. Rios falls to the canvas, but referee says it was a slip. The next rounds were dominated by Pacquiao with flurries wile Rios shook it off to say he’s not getting hurt. Before the 12th round, Rios face was half-closed right eye, bloody cut in the left of Rios’s face. On the last round, Pacquiao hit Rios with hard left hook, right uppercut.
Pacquiao wins a unanimous decision, his first win in two years. Rios won only three rounds from the judges. Pacquiao outlanded Rios in power punches 223-113. Pacquiao’s winning fight brings more hope to our kababayans who are recovering from Typhoon Yolanda! Mabuhay ka Manny and God bless you!
