Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla admitted that there were times in his relationship with Kathryn Bernardo that he tended to relax.
During his interview with Angelica Panganiban on her online talk show Ask Angelica, Padilla confessed to slacking off during their comfortable stage.
“Siguro noong mga 4 years kami ni Kathryn, nagkaroon ng time na masyado akong naging komportable. So, naging away din namin before na, ‘Bakit puro kaibigan?’ Ganoon,” Daniel admitted.
There are no perfect relationships and every relationship goes through some rough time.
“Ang hassle kapag naaaning ka parati. Diretsuhin mo na, tingnan mo diretso sa mata. The eyes don’t lie,” he said.
Angelica then agreed with Daniel, sharing her view about women’s instinct.
“Madalas lalaki ang nagkakaroon ng iba, though ang mga babae nagkakamali din ‘yan. Kaya din siguro may tinatawag na women’s instinct. Totoo ‘yun, eh. Naniniwala ako na hindi lang siya women’s instinct. Instinct siya ng isang nagmamahal na tao. Mararamdaman mo ‘yun,” she said.
Daniel and Kathryn have been together for eight years now. Recently, Daniel said that Kathryn will be the girl that he will marry.
During the virtual media conference for his concert Apollo, Daniel said he sees himself marrying Kathryn before he turns 30.
“Ang nakikita ko talaga, after three or four years basta before ako mag-30 gusto ko. Ayoko masyado patagalin na umabot na sa range ng 30 kasi pag tumapak na ng 30, ang bilis na naman eh. So sana before 30 maging suave na ang lahat at matuloy ang kasal,” Daniel shared.
“Why not? Why wait? Kung okay naman ang sitwasyon, at least kung hindi ka masyado matanda puwede ka pang makipaglaro. Kaya rin gusto ko siya maging goal, ‘yung edad. Sayang eh,” he added.
He however said that it is not going to happen very soon but it will definitely happen.
“Siyempre doon sa ginagawa naming show, ganun ang tema. Pero kami ni Kathryn, hindi pa. Pero not soon. Pero soon,” he said. “Ganun na lang. Not soon pero soon,” he said.
