DDS propagandists are up against ABS-CBN again, this time with the suspension of ABS-CBN News and ANC’s YouTube channels.
On Tuesday, November 3, netizens were surprised after ABS-CBN News and ANC YouTube Channels were unavailable with a prompt saying the accounts have been terminated.
Because of that, known DDS fake news spreaders immediately jumped to the conclusion about the possible reason
@janwriter on Twitter, posted that ABS-CBN has violated YoutTbe’s rule on third-party sponsorships and ads that’s why the accounts were suspended. The netizen alleged that ABS-CBN is circumventing YouTube’s terms of service to gain more advantage for them, the same line of allegations thrown against ABS-CBN during their franchise renewal hearing, although none of the allegations were proven.

Aside from Jan Writer, another proud DDS propagandist and fake news proliferator Mark Lopez also took to Twitter to echo the DDS’s fake news theory about ABS-CBN’s violation of YouTube’s terms.

Meanwhile, over at Facebook, blogger Kapamilya Kingdom also scored a netizen who shared the same propaganda against ABS-CBN News’ YouTube Channel.
Just like the other known DDS fake news spreaders, the netizen also claimed that ABS-CBN News’ YouTube channel was terminated for allegedly violating YouTube’s Terms of Service with regards to product placements on their video.

However, hours later, the ABS-CBN News and ANC’s YouTube channels were restored with ABS-CBN confirming that it was a result of a hacking incident belying DDS’s propaganda about YouTube violations.
In their statement, ABS-CBN thanked the public for their support and understanding. And they also assured the public that they will remain committed to providing news and information, especially in these trying times.
“After working closely with YouTube, the ABS-CBN News and ANC 24/7 channels have been restored at 3:58 pm today.
“The two news channels were temporarily suspended beginning 6:30 am this morning after a hacking incident.
“The investigation on the incident continues as we also implement measures to prevent this from happening again.
“ABS-CBN remains committed to [providing] news and information to our countrymen, particularly over these trying times as we recover from the effects of Super Typhoon Rolly and prepare for another incoming weather disturbance.
“We thank the public for their support and understanding.”
