In an MYXclusive interview for the collaboration of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, James slipped and unintentionally called Nadine “Love” while recounting their previous conversations about their new music.
“And I just asked her like, Love if we, Let’s say MYX interviewed you… What would you say the album about?” said James.
It further fanned the rumors about the two being back together.
On October 27, 2020, MYX had an interview with James and Nadine. The interview meant to promote the carrier single “Wildest Dreams” for Nadine’s album of the same title under the record label, Careless Manila, owned by James.
Nadine and James confirmed the amicable break up back in January of 2020 and the two remained friends. Tabloids hinted at issues with third-party involvement, but the two released a statement on Tonight With Boy Abunda. They said that their breakup was a result of the two focusing on their selves and confirmed that they will still work together, especially when it comes to music.
