Mariel Rodriguez Padilla revealed something about husband Robin Padilla’s bad boy image in a recent vlog she made to mark his birthday.
One of the things that Mariel shared in her vlog is how happy and grateful she is because her husband is so far fulfilling the promises he made to her when they were first married.
“I’m really so blessed na siya ang asawa ko kasi talagang hindi ako nangangamba, panatag ako, and I’m really grateful because he’s sticking to his word, he is sticking to his promises to me.”
She then revealed that in real life, Robin is far from his Bad Boy image.
“Sobrang hindi po bad boy. He is one of the kindest, the most generous that you will ever meet. He is selfless that way. Lahat, gusto niya. give nang give nang give. His love language is act of service, so he’s always serving us.”
“I’m really grateful for that. That he is really trying his best na ‘yung mga ipinangako niya sa akin eh, ma-keep niya.
“Having him around has made my kids so happy, that the whole family is always home. I’m taking this time na talagang i-savor kasi hindi ko alam kung kailan ulit mangyayari ‘to.”
It was on May 15, 2010, that Robin became a guest host on the now defunct Wowowee where he met Mariel who was a co-host
Later on when Mariel interviewed Robin in his dressing room and asked him to identify each of the hosts in one word, “Kabigha-bighani,” said Robin of Mariel, adding, “Napaka-ganda ng mata po niyo talaga.”
The attraction between the two grew stronger every day that they worked together on that noontime program, and on Robin’s last day, he said to the emotional Mariel, “Sana hindi pa ito ang huli.”
Smitten with each other, Robin and Mariel did not wait any longer and flew to Agra, India, where they were married in the beautiful and historic Taj Mahal, just three months after they first met in August 2010.
Just this year, the two celebrated their 10th year anniversary. The couple spoke shared this milestone on their respective Instagram accounts.
