After keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats, GMA Network’s well-loved TV adaptation of the 1989 award-winning blockbuster movie by Regal Films “Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit” airs its final episode tomorrow (March 26).
The drama series is top-billed by the one and only Superstar Ms. Nora Aunor as Mercedes “Cedes” dela Cruz. Playing equally important roles are highly-acclaimed actress Mylene Dizon as Magnolia “Nolie” dela Cruz and Kapuso Breakout Star Kyline Alcantara as Maggie dela Cruz.
“Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit” follows the story of Cedes, Nolie, and Maggie – three generations of women who take on a quest to pursue their dreams and to avenge the indignities they suffered from those who have wronged them.
Completing the powerhouse cast are: Zoren Legaspi, Gabby Eigenmann, Ina Feleo, Yasser Marta, Candy Pangilinan, and Isabel Rivas.
“Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit” also features the special participation of Ricky Davao, Divina Valencia, and Dante Rivero.
Arturo (Gabby) confessed to Nolie (Mylene) that he hit Ansel (Zoren) with his car. Nolie asked Arturo to stay out of her life. She ran to the hospital and found out that Ansel survived. Meanwhile, Jun (Yasser) tells Maggie (Kyline) that he’s leaving for the US to study under an arts scholarship program and he gives her back the promise ring.
As the series comes to an end, will Nolie and Ansel finally have their happy ending? Will Maggie and Jun reunite once again?
