Mayor Simon (Nonie Buencamino) will hold the family of Tomas (Dominic Ochoa) hostage in exchange for killing his grandson’s lover this week in the teleserye “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” which airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.
After Mayor Simon finds out about her grandson Miguel’s (RK Bagatsing) relationship with a man, the politician will order his aide to murder Miguel’s boyfriend, the entrepreneur named Diego (Rafael Rosell), for fear that the secret will come out and harm Miguel’s mayoral campaign.
Thinking ahead and expecting refusal from his aide, Mayor Simon will have Tomas’ wife Rebecca and son Pio (Matet De Leon and Seth Fedelin) kidnapped so Tomas will have no choice but to yield to him – a demand that feels like payback for betraying his trust after Tomas threw his support behind Mira and Joy’s (Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz) church rebuilding project.
While Miguel’s relationship remains a secret, broadcast journalist Eva (Mylene Dizon) has been following a trail of clues that will prove that faith healer Deborah (Eula Valdes) faked a viral miracle.
