Phenomenal box-office superstar and comedian, Vice Ganda, paid homage to the late former President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III in an Instagram post where he considers his one-on-one interview with PNoy as one of the highlights of his career in showbiz.
Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV) was a Sunday late-night talk show of ABS-CBN where the comedian interviewed personalities in the industry, politicians, and viral artists who went through many experiences. The show started in May 2011 and culminated in its final episode in May 2020.
The award-winning star shared that his interview with PNoy was one of the Gandang Gabi Vice’s (GGV) best episodes. He is blessed to have interviewed the former chief executive in 2015 where Vice Ganda went to Malacaňan Palace together with his team to do the episode.
“I had the privilege to interview you for Gandang Gabi Vice during your term as President.
“That was one of the highlights of my career and also one of the best episodes of my program.
“As a Filipino, I am grateful for your integrity.
“Thank you very much Sir Noy for the honor to personally meet you and have that once in a lifetime experience.
“May you rest in peace our 15th President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III,” the comedian captioned.
It was in the episode where Vice Ganda made an honest remark to the late former president saying that PNoy was the ‘pinakamatinong presidente’ he ever met.
“Magmula ho nung nagkaroon ako ng muwang dito sa mundo at naimulat and mata ko, masasabi kong kayo po ang pinakamatinong presidente ng bansa ko na naranasan ko, matapos ang nanay n’yo,” Vice stated.
“Magmula po nong bumoto ako, kayo lang po yata ang binoto ko sa presidente na hindi ko pinagsisihan,” he added.

It’s Showtime TV host, Vice Ganda successfully exposed the funny side of PNoy where they played a game asking the former president to react and comment on the pictures he showed.
Being known for his humor as a comedian, the host did not hesitate to ask the former chief executive if what brand of shampoo he used.
Vice Ganda complimented PNoy as the most handsome president but later said that it was only because he’s the one who’s in position.
Vice, also recognized for his brave remarks, told that PNoy had weaknesses as a person but he still admired him for being able to eradicate corruption in the country.
“Bilang isang normal na tao, meron kayong mga kahinaan, may mga sablay kayo minsan.
“Pero masasabi ko po, nagpapasalamat parin ako at kayo ang Pangulo ng bansang ito sa ngayon dahil nakakatulog ako sa gabi at sigurado ako na hindi ako nanakawan ng Pangulo ko.
“Maraming-maraming salamat po,” the record-breaking host expressed.
