Vice Ganda talked about loyalty amidst the dire situation of ABS-CBN in a resurfaced episode of It’s Showtime aired a few months ago.
Some fans are re-sharing Vice’s realizations especially the previous months have been challenging for the Kapamilya network as they struggled with the effects franchise denial and the pandemic.
The veteran host and comedian then touched hearts as he shared a message during the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the noontime show.
Vice said that he appreciates the people who chose to stay and support the network despite the situation.
Vice said, “Mukha na kaming kawawa at halos patay na kami. Kaya ngayon na nangyayari to sa ABS-CBN. Hindi rin kita iiwanan katulad ng hindi mo pag-iwan sa akin.”
“Yung taong papayag na, sige sasamahan parin kita kahit wala nakong nahihita sayo. Ang sarap non.”
On the flip side, Vice divulged that it is painful for him when others decided to leave after taking advantage of their stay in the network.
He said, “Andami namang nakinabang din, diba? Pero nung pakiramdam natin parang hindi yata mapapakinabangan, iiwanan ka ang sakit non.”

Not long before ABS-CBN faced its franchise renewal issues, many actors and actresses eyed to sign a contract with the network as it reigned the Philippine entertainment industry.
However, the tide turned last year, and several ABS-CBN celebrities began leaving one by one.
It was on May 5, 2020, when the media giant went off the air after National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) issued a cease-and-desist order demanding ABS-CBN to immediately cease all of its free TV and radio broadcasting.
Despite several actors leaving the network, Vice has been vocal about his loyalty and love for ABS-CBN ever since. He has been a Kapamilya for over a decade now.
Even though many Kapamilyas are now departed from ABS-CBN, a greater number of artists, including Vice, still chose to stay and remain loyal to the network.
