On August 16, 2021, during their contract renewal for GMA Network, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi shared their dynamics as siblings.
Mavy said they don’t limit themselves in their kulitan moments, but he noted that they remain responsible.
“Kaming dalawa, we do what we want to do.
“At the same time, maging responsible din naman but as artists wala kaming limit.”
Cassy agreed to it with a fist bump saying, “ganda, ganda.”
Mavy then explained that they often tease each other on-cam and off-cam. He also clarified that they are authentic and spontaneous when it comes to their fun-filled interaction as siblings.
“Real Talk, wala kaming pakialam sa mga ganon. Like kung itutukso, iti-tease ko si Cassy max na ‘yun. Like what I’m doing right now max na ‘yun.
“Wala ‘yung plan na, ‘o Cass, I’m gonna tease you pero ‘yung mga ganito, ganyan. Parang kami, we’re so used to it. It’s like our everyday lives. So no limit.”
Mavy then jested, “so, what do you want to know?” seemingly spilling the beans about his sister.
Cassy reacted, “sabi ko, biglang nag-heart attack. I-chat ninyo lang daw guys.”
As seen during the media conference, The Legaspi twins would often cheerfully tease each other about their love teams and upcoming projects within the network.
Cassy and Mavy then confirmed that they are open to working with each other.
“We’ll be locked in together, Naku!” Cassy joked.
“That will be fun. That will be great. I think that will be great experience syempre, but I think we’re so hooked on the idea of working with so much great artists,” Mavy stated.
However, both agreed that it wouldn’t be happening anytime soon.
“Sa future na lang,” Cassy clarified.
“We want to work with each other last na. But if the chance arises, and we’ll do a show together. That will be a very fun experience because I get to see Cassy on a different side,” Mavy continued.
Cassy and Mavy are the twins of seasoned actors Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi. Both of them started in showbiz in 2017 but have since grown into their own careers.
Cassy recently starred in First Yaya and received an endorsement from Palmolive. Mavy, on the other hand, hosts Flex and stars in the upcoming Kapuso series, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
