Angelica Panganiban promised that she would stop doing teleseryes in an interview with Boy Abunda’s vlog The Boy Abunda Talk Channel, which was uploaded on Wednesday, December 1. She said she might change her mind if the situation requires it.

The actress shared that it was painful for her to come up with the decision. However, she added that she wanted to pursue other things besides starring in teleseryes.

Panganiban admitted, “Hanggang ngayon mahirap siya. Siguro gusto ko talagang panindigan dahil may ibang direksikyon na siyang gustong gawin ngayon.

“Si Angge, may ibang direksiyon na siyang gustong gawin,” she addressed herself in the third person.

If ABS-CBN executives require her to do it, Panganiban said she might change her mind.

She said, “Kapag sinabi nila.

It can be recalled that Panganiban announced before that the 2019 series Playhouse, which also starred Zanjoe Marudo, will be her last small-screen project. However, Panganiban reneged on her promise as she starred in Walang Hanggang Paalam on ABS-CBN which ended in 2021.

Panganiban explained that she couldn’t turn down the offer when asked to star in Walang Hanggang Paalam amid the pandemic.

Then, siyempre, hindi niya maintindihan.

And these…

“’Yung pagod, ’yung naka-lock-in, ’yung naka-bubble kayo for kalahating taon, parang okay na. Okey na talaga.”

She currently spends most of her time with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Gregg Homan. She also wants to enjoy her newfound love.

Panganiban said, “S’yempre, nagka-lovelife. Tapos parang, ‘Baka p’wedeng i-enjoy ko muna ’to?”

Currently, Panganiban is focusing on her possible big-screen projects under Star Cinema. She is also hoping to work with directors Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas. Jadaone was the one who helmed the hit movie That Thing Called Tadhana she starred in in 2015.
