Newbie sexy star Denise Esteban on Thursday, May 5, said she had no problems having relations with a guy whose a male escort.
In the virtual media conference of her upcoming movie Doblado, Esteban pointed out, “Siguro sa akin, susuportahan ko siya. Kasi kung makilala ko na ganoon na ang work niya, maiintindihan ko iyon.”
She added, “Basta at the end of the day, sa akin siya.”
In the film, she plays Jaira, a college student who leads a double life as a high-class prostitute. When she met Ronan (Josef Elizalde), her life did change but she was also at risk of being exposed.

Before becoming a sexy star, Esteban was part of the girl group Ppop Generation, which led to her being bashed after switching careers. The pain she felt was when she was judged by those close to her.
“Hindi ko na lang pinakita pero para sa akin, medyo nasaktan ako. Kasi yung mga tao, mga malapit sa akin, sila pa yung parang nanghusga sa akin sa ginawa kong pagpapa-sexy,” she admitted.
Luckily for Esteban, her family supported her decision.
“Sa akin po, sobrang supportive naman ng family ko and friends ko.”
She defended her sexy career as a work of art.
“In-explain ko naman sa kanila na hindi naman seryoso iyon, na fake lang naman. So iyon, tinanggap nila. Sobrang supportive nila sa akin.”
However, the sexy star stressed that being criticized is part of being in the entertainment industry, let alone, doing erotic films.
“Hindi ko sila masiyadong pinapansin. Kasi sabi nga nila, hindi mo naman mapi-please lahat nang tao. So parang magsasayang ka lang ng pagod mo na mag-explain sa mga tao kung bakit ganiyan. Tsaka alam din namin sa sarili namin na fake lang ang ginagawa namin. Hindi naman makatotohanan na parang porn ang ginagawa namin,” explained Esteban.
Doblado is her second lead role since Kaliwaan.
The movie, directed by GB Sampedro will have its premiere on Vivamax beginning May 6.
