Pride Month in June highlights the struggles, fights, and successes of LGBTQIA+ people and their history.

As part of Pride Month celebrations, here is a list of Pinoy stars who are proud of their family members in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Ian Veneracion

Seasoned actor Ian Veneracion publicly announced that he is a proud father to his daughter Deirdre ‘Dids’ Veneracion, who came out as a lesbian. Dids is an aspiring musician who recently released her song, ‘Someone.’

Ricky Davao and Jackie Lou Blanco

The seasoned actors and former couple Ricky Davao and Jackie Lou Blanco expressed their pride in their eldest daughter, Rikki Mae Davao, who came out as a lesbian. In one interview, Davao recalled his experience when Rikki came out to him about her sexual orientation, clarifying that he felt shocked but not angry.

In June 2022, seasoned actress Sharon Cuneta and politician Kiko Pangilinan’s daughter Miel Pangilinan came out as part of the LGBTQIA+ community through an Instagram post.
