Christine Bermas doesn’t consider herself an actress yet

On August 5, Viva artist Christine Bermas stated that she doesn’t consider herself an actress yet.

At the virtual meeting for Lampas Langit, which had select members of the entertainment press, including LionhearTV, Bermas said she continuously reminds herself to remain grounded as she receives projects from Viva.

“Lagi kong kino-quote sa self ko na maging be down to earth. At palagi kong iniisip kung saan ako nanggaling. So everytime na ‘yun nga, parang pag may blessing, may pumapasok sa aking project, syempre tinatanggap namin ‘yan.”

She does note that she appreciates the praises she’s receiving for her projects.

She then stressed how much she loves her job and considers every project she receives a blessing.

Bermas then confessed that she wanted to graduate from her sexy star image, expressing her interest in being a more serious dramatic actress.

“To be honest kasi, binigay ko na lahat ng–I mean lahat sa Scorpio Nights 3. So parang for me, stop na for that. So parang gusto ko na grumaduate from that.

Bermas stars in the Vivamax romance thriller Lampas Langit. The movie also stars Ricky Davao, Baron Geisler, Chloe Jenna, and Milana Ikimoto.

Lampas Langit, directed by Jeffrey Hidalgo, premieres on Vivamax on August 19.
