Rayver Cruz admitted that he is courting Julie Ann San Jose despite the rumors that the two are already together.
In an interview with the GMA Network on August 4, Cruz opened up on how he made sure to properly court San Jose.
“Hindi ko naman tinatago. Nakausap ko na rin yung parents niya, nagpaalam ako sa dad niya kung pwede kong ligawan yung anak nila, and kung pwede akong bumisita paminsan-minsan. So nakakabisita naman ako, nakikita naman sa Tiktoks namin,” he said.
The actor said he buys San Jose coffee every taping and often visits her dressing room.
He explained that he asked permission from the Kapuso artist’s parents first before he started courting the actress.
“Gusto naman nating lahat na do’n tayo sa tama.
“So like me growing up — kasi family man din ako — like alam ko yung values ng kung papano yung sa isang pamilya, so ang pinaka-importante talaga is magpaalam muna. Kasi kailangan kasama ‘yan eh.
“Automatic kasi din sakin pagka mahal ko yung isang tao, mahal ko kaagad yung pamilya.”
On the other hand, San Jose said that she appreciates the gestures that Cruz is showing her.
“[That] is very, very important for me especially like sa mga ganitong klaseng mga bagay.
“And ayun, masaya naman, happy lahat. Yun naman ang importante, masaya lahat.”
Previously, Cruz professed his love to San Jose as the latter celebrated her 28th birthday on May 17.
