ABS-CBN’s newest romantic drama series titled “Till I Met You” serves as a follow-up project to James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s first primetime television series “On the Wings of Love.”
James and Nadine will play as Sebastian and Iris – two best friends who fell in love with each other. Sebastian and Iris have a mutual friend Alejandro, played by JC Santos. The trailer implies that Alejandro will be the third wheel in Basti and Iris’ relationship in this not so typical story.
Basti and Iris can be seen preparing for their wedding day in separate rooms.
Iris gets a wedding gift from Alejandro, and she admits that he is her ideal man.
They both say at one point: “I’ve fallen in love with my best friend.”
“But I’m not his ideal girl. I think he likes someone else,” she says.
Basti then receives a gift from Alejandro.
But it’s not from Iris – the card reads that it’s from Alejandro, suggesting that he is in love with Reid’s character.
One line from the teaser says, “Sa paglantad ng itinatagong pagmamahal will #lovewins? or will this break their friendship?”
“Till I Met You” is directed by the “Blockbuster Hugot Director of the Philippines” Antoinette Jadaone. Jadaone is also the director of JaDine’s last project “On the Wings of Love.”
