On January 17, Liza Diño-Seguerra highlighted the powerhouse ensemble cast of the Kapamilya series, Dirty Linen.

At the media conference for Dirty Linen, which LionhearTV covered, Diño felt honored to work with the powerhouse cast of the Kapamilya teleserye.

“On a personal [note], [I’m] really honored because it /is [really] such a powerhouse cast. I mean–every character is [really] handpicked, and [they] fit the role [they] play. And for me, for my first project to be that, parang, ‘Wow na miss ko talagang umarte.'”

She then discussed how the ensemble cast works together.

“He really explained the scene that it’s really an ensemble, hindi pwedeng may mataas, hindi pwedeng may mababa, dapat lahat kayo pantay-pantay kasi hindi ninyo ma-achieve ‘yung eksena. So ‘yung mga ganong experience is really special because it really, gives value to us actors na kaya namin ibigay talaga ito sa series.”

She also praised the directors Andoy Ranay and Onat Diaz for their cohesive work on the series.

“And nako, for our directors, they have their own process– but I just told them, the way they work it’s so cohesive, kasi minsan kapag may second unit ka, may first unit ka, minsan kitang-kita mo talaga sa screen, na parang magkaiba ‘yung direction, but dito you won’t even see it, because they really go together.”

She then lauded the working hours implemented on their set while taping for the series.

“And I’m so lucky that the first project, the whole environment there, we we’re in a locked in shoot, 12-hours ‘yung aming sinusunod na working hours, everybody is on point, they know they’re own lines, after ng shoot namin, prinoproseso namin ‘yung mga character namin, we would have, nagkaroon kami ng isang pawaw na lahat ng actors nandoon.”

As for their series, Dirty Linen stars Janine Gutierrez, Zanjoe Marudo, Francine Diaz, and Seth Fedelin.

The teleserye also features an ensemble cast such as Jennica Garcia, Dolly De Leon, Janice de Belen, Joel Torre, Susan Africa, Tessie Tomas, Soliman Cruz, Epy Quizon, John Arcilla, Angel Aquino, Tessie Tomas, JC Santos, Xyriel Manabat, Raven Rigor, and Christian Bables.

Other cast members include Aubrey Miles, Andrea Del Rosario, Karl Medina, Apey Obera, Tart Carlos, CJ Navato, Ana Abad Santos, Nanding Josef, Diño-Seguerra, and Rubi-Rubi.

Dirty Linen directed by Andoy Ranay and Onat Diaz, premieres on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and TFC on January 23.
