Xian Lim, who stars in the upcoming period drama film, shares that he has high hopes for Sa Muli, directed by Fifth Solomon.
“Kailangan natin ng ganitong klase ng pelikula, kailangan po natin ng ganitong klase ng love story, lalo na ngayong panahon na ito na parang ang bigat-bigat lang. We just want something to make us happy, to make us fall in love again. I think Direk Fifth really captured it with this film,” shared Xian Lim during the press conference on April 13 at Boteyju, Vertis North in Quezon City.
“I really do wish that yung puyat, yung pagod, will translate when they watch the film,” he added.
In addition, Lim shared about the first time he worked with Fifth in 2019, “Pinapanuod ko po kung papaano si Fifth, how he talks to people, how he talks to these actors, and ang galing po ni Fifth kasi meron talaga siyang paninindigan. He is very collaborative, meron talaga siyang clear vision para sa pelikula.”
The director shared that they were initially given 10 days to finish the film. However, four days before completion, the pandemic lockdown caught up with them, and they had to resume filming in 2022. Viva Films approved an additional 3 days of extension, for which he was grateful.
Lim shared how the director, Fifth Solomon, really fought for the film, “Sasabihin ni Fifth, ‘Hindi ako papayag, hindi ako papayag. Tatapusin natin ito, I’m gonna stand my ground.'”

Xian Lim and Ryza Cenon are also with Candy Pangilinan, Marissa Sanchez, Aurora Sevilla, Josef Elizalde, Carlyn Ocampo, Andrew Muhlach, Ali Khatibi, and many others in Sa Muli. Fifth Solomon directed and Viva Films produced this film, which will start screening on April 26.
